Dazzle ships is back, after last months amazing Arthur Russell movie after-party. This time we’re doing a little CD release party for Memory Span by The Lines, which I’m sure you know all about, because you’ve been reading this blog. Jeremy and I will be joined by dj Ray Velasquez and we’ll be playing some post-punk funk, new wave dub, and all kinds of sounds from the era. The Lines stood on their own and were defiantly not part of any specific scene, but we’ll play some likeminded sounds, some influences and followers, some peers and bands they shared the bill with, and mostly, some more music by The Lines.
